We welcome up to 36 children in full-day care and 15 in our after-school group, plus a further 24 children in the National School after-school service.
Our Educational Philosophy
At Bo Peep, we believe that childhood is a unique and precious stage of life that deserves a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. Our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child is a competent, curious, and capable learner. We strive to create a "home away from home" where children feel a deep sense of belonging, allowing them to explore the world with confidence and joy.
We are deeply committed to the Aistear and Síolta frameworks, which guide our play-based curriculum. We understand that play is the natural language of children and the primary way they make sense of their surroundings. By providing a balance of child-led exploration and adult-guided activities, we foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Our goal is to ignite a lifelong love for learning by celebrating each child’s individual interests and unique personality.
Community and connection are at the heart of everything we do. As a local center in Corrandulla, we pride ourselves on building strong, collaborative relationships with our families. We view parents as our partners in the educational journey, ensuring that the transition between home and school is seamless and supportive. For our older children in afterschool care, our philosophy extends to fostering independence and balance. We provide a structured yet relaxed atmosphere where supervised homework support is complemented by meaningful community engagement and creative play. Whether a child is in their first years of life or transitioning through primary school, Bo Peep Management is dedicated to providing an environment where they can truly thrive, discover their potential, and, most importantly, have fun.
Our services
Baby/Toddler Room
A gentle space designed for our youngest explorers to develop sensory skills and social bonds in a secure environment.
Preschool Rooms
Preparing children for the primary school journey through structured Montessori curricula focused on literacy and numeracy.
Afterschool Junior/Senior Room
A welcoming environment for Infant and Senior children to unwind, complete homework, and engage in creative projects after their school day.
Corrandulla N.S. Afterschool
Afterschool care for our Corrandulla children, providing a nurturing space for them to finish their homework and enjoy quality playtime with friends.
Camps
We offer engaging camps for school-age children during school midterm breaks or summer holidays, fostering fun and learning.
Our Facilities
We offer a warm, calm, and welcoming space where every child feels at home. Our rooms are created to help little ones stay curious and independent in a kind, friendly, and natural setting.
Stretch and Grow Class
Our weekly Stretch and Grow sesions for preschool children are educational and informative. The children learn where their muscles are, the names and what they do. They learn all about inside their body; the heart and lungs, kidneys, liver, intestines, the bones and the brain and their functions. You may be thinking this is too much for a 3 or 5 year old but the fun way in which they deliver these lessons mean they really enjoy this section of the class.
Parents Support
National Childcare Scheme (NCS)
The National Childcare Scheme provides universal and income-based supports to families with children aged between 24 weeks and 15 years old. Parents and guardians can access these subsidies via the scheme’s online application process. As you’ll see below, the National Childcare Scheme offers two different subsidies.
Universal Subsidies are available to families who have children under the age of three. But it is also accessible to families with children over three years old who are yet to qualify for the ECCE Scheme. This subsidy is not means tested and contributes to the cost of a registered childcare place for up to 45 hours per week.
Families with children up to the age of 15 are potentially eligible for the means-tested Income Assessed Subsidies. The rate of support is calculated based on family income, your child’s age, their educational stage, and the number of children in your family. ECCE
The ECCE Scheme offers pre-school age children two years of free early learning education before starting primary school. Your child must be at least two years and eight months old by August 31st to qualify for the upcoming ECCE term, which runs from September to June (38 weeks). The scheme is not means tested.
The program is provided three hours per day (9:30 am -12:30 pm), five days a week, and is available at our centre.
And if your child receives full-day or extended daycare at our centres, the ECCE subsidy will be deducted from their fees between September and June (inclusive). Find out more about the ECCE Scheme here >>
